I finished my PGCE in Physics with Maths at the Institute of Education (IOE), UCL, London and have been working since as Physics/ Science Teacher. I also have been awarded the Institute of Physics (IOP) Teacher Training Scholarship for talented individuals entering Physics Teacher Training in England. I have five years of UK and international teaching experience, have taught in different schools and am currently teaching GCSE Physics and Chemistry and A-level Physics. I have also taught all the Sciences at KS3 and GCSE Biology. I have been tutoring and teaching in Greece for more than ten years. I studied Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) and completed my Master’s Degree at Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies at the same institute. My research interests focused on Nanobiotechnology, especially on synthesis and characterisation of organic and inorganic nanoparticles for biological applications, biosensors and drug delivery. I have worked as a Physics Researcher at the Lab for Thin Films, Nanobiomaterials, Nanosystems & Nanometrology (LTFN), which is located at the Department of Physics, A.U.Th., for two years beginning in November 2012 before I moved to London to complete my teacher training.
