I am a passionate teacher with 15 years of experience, I have taught young learners and adults as well as I am a hospitality trainer. I found passion in teaching different stages and ages. I believe that for a student to progress is to have a kind relationship with his tutor, I have built an excellent rapport with my students. My lessons are student-oriented, where they must search and work with me to guide them. I am very enthusiastic about working with my middle and high school students. I want to be a positive role model and “cheerleader” for my students, a listening ear, and a knowledgeable resource. I also want to give my students some level of independence about the work that they are doing; at this age, the majority of students desire more responsibility and control over their success. I want to provide opportunities for them to build these skills while they are in my class. My philosophy of education is based on what I know and have experienced at this point in my career. I am sure that my teaching philosophy will change as I learn more as a young professional. That’s one of the gifts of being human; we can make mistakes, or learn something new, and make a change for the better. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
