I work at International College (IC) as a learning support teacher with preschool learners (Nursery, KG1, KG2), where I offer one-to-one and in-class support for students with diverse academic difficulties and problematic behaviors. Also, my job expectations require me to coordinate with teachers on implementing classroom-based differentiation strategies aimed to alleviate the learners' difficulties and to collaborate with outside specialists working with each learner to align the objectives set as a part of our action plans. Adding to that, I conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss various recommendations to be implemented at home and to suggest the learner's referral to outside specialists to offer additional support in the ongoing intervention (e.g. speech therapy, psychomotor therapy...).
